Painting with a brush

I really enjoyed this. I done it was a brush and loved how the movement of the paint created what i saw in frount of me. 

Palette knife painting.

These paintings are done with a palette knife and 3 shades of colour. I really enjoyed moving the paint around and making the different  shapes with the knife, i really enjoyed it.

Credit card painting with pva paper

I never enjoyed painting this at all as the pva paper dried the arcylic very fast it felt like i was painting with mud. i also never got the colours right as they all turned a brownie ugly colour. That was a bad day for me.

Blaind drawings

These are my blind drawings i done. I really enjoyed doing them as the loosened my arms up and got me focused on what i was painting. I also loved the way they turned out as the look very interesting.

Painting

Since the past two weeks i was doing painting. I really enjoy but I'm finishing up on Friday and getting assessed. For the first two days we took in coloured objects. i got the colour red and then we got put into groups. My group then made a sculpture. Then the room got put into  two groups. we then made two sculptures and done series of paintings of them using tumbnails and different tools such as a plate knife and a cerdit card and a brush.

What do we really kiss?

These photos were taken at the start of the year. I studied them to see the shape, the light, the texture of the mouth and have a better understanding in what people kiss.

Taste of a Kiss

On new years eve after the bells i asked some of the people who got the new years kiss and asked them what it tasted of. As you can imagine i got some funny looks of people then had to explain my project to them. Off a few people it tasted like ciggerates because they had one just before the kiss. Other people said drink like vodka, whishky and the usual drinks people drink on new years. One boy said the kiss tasted like mint cause he gave his girlfriend a chewing gum just 5mins before the bells. The one that stood out to me the most was a local girl who said the boy she kissed tasted like chips. I nearly got sick.

Sulcpture of two heads kissing

I made these heads to show the space between to people when they kiss in a 3D piece as i have alot of 2D work on the space between two people when they kiss already. I also noticed when making these heads that when two lovers kiss they become one.

Lips xox

This photo is of my own lips. At the moment i am woring with x's and o's as they represent hugs and kisses. I am currently making 3D x's and o's and i will hang them on the roof (all going to be different sizes). I am doing this to represent the kiss in a different ways.
